Tong Mo is a cutting-edge fashion photographer from Beijing, China. Her journey began in 2016, when she started wandering the streets of China with her camera. Tong’s vision shifted as she went from looking at life to truly seeing its beauty through the lens. The camera empowered her to find a unique voice in photography. She believes a visual distortion of reality is one of the most accessible ways to access her imagination. Her passion for art lead her to study in America. While earning her BFA from the Rochester Institute of Technology, Tong developed a fascination with color theory, fashion photography, studio lighting. Tong’s mastery of photoshop and compositing, create an innovative practice. Her work often uses constructed images to achieve the desired visual impact.
